The Rotary Club of Austin proudly announces our 28th annual Camp Enterprise

Camp Enterprise is an annual opportunity for young people to experience the free enterprise system and to explore the world of business.  Camp Enterprise is designed for young people guided by enthusiastic and qualified adult facilitators where participants experience an intensive and fast-paced immersion into the world of business.  Camp Enterprise is also a fabulous opportunity to practice team building skills, collaborative problem solving, and to meet fellow students in Central Texas with the same interests.

Who:                     Camp Enterprise is open to high school juniors

When:                  Friday morning February 19, to Sunday afternoon February 21, 2010

Where:                 Camp Enterprise will be held at Camp Lone Star in La Grange, TX

                                www.LOMT.com

Logistics:    High school counselors nominate students for interviews which are conducted by members of the Rotary Club of Austin.  The interviews will take place in the fall of 2009 at the high schools.  On February 19, participants  will rally at an Austin location to board busses to Camp Lone Star in La Grange.  Participants will return to Austin via bus on Sunday afternoon February 21.  All Camp  Enterprise activities are supervised by adults.

What to do:  Identify students you believe would be good candidates for Camp Enterprise.   We  anticipate interviewing students beginning in early October and completing interviews                                              by the first week of December 2009.

Questions:  Contact Charles Doty, 2010 Camp Enterprise Committee Chair, at 512-694- 3189 or 512-608-6607.
