GSE 2010 Osaka Outbound 5870 Team

 

 

Chris Mealy- Team Leader

 

Chris is an Attorney-Mediator and non-profit fundraiser in the Sun City Georgetown Rotary Club.  He and his wife, Liz, have two grown daughters. Chris is an 11-year Rotarian who is Immediate Past President of his Club and is also a Stephen Minister in his church and has held numerous other leadership and service roles. 

Michelle Cervantes

 

Michelle is a Librarian at the Round Rock Public Library.  She holds a Master of Science from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University in Austin.  She and her husband, Jimmy, live in Pflugerville. The Round Rock Sunrise Rotary Club sponsors Michelle.

JC Schmeil

 

JC is an architect and Principal of Merzbau Design Collective.  He attended high school in Tokyo and speaks some Japanese.  He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas and a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.  He and his wife, Ashley, and two sons live in South Austin. 

Kathleen Ramos

 

Kathleen is a perfusionist with Capital Area Perfusionists.  She keeps patients alive during surgery.  She attended Indiana University and has worked at the Texas Heart Institute.  She understands Spanish and Tagalog (Philippines).

Kasey McCarty

 

Kasey has owned Kasey McCarty Design Studio for four years.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Texas Tech and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia, after college.  She enjoys travel and mentoring young interior designers.

Bryan McMath

 

Bryan is Chief of Staff for Texas State Senator Kel Seliger.  He has been in State government for 14 years.  Bryan holds a Bachelors of Arts from Vanderbilt (with two semesters at Leeds in England) and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago.   

Teresa Price- Alternate Team Leader

 

Teresa is a retired Naval Officer living in Mexia with her husband, Rick.  Both Teresa and Rick are very involved in Rotary, having served in multiple leadership capacities from local to District to International and are amazingly well-traveled.
