THANKS TO RANDY BERRY & CENTRAL TRANSPORTATION COMPANY FROM LITERACY COMMITTEE!

The Rotary Club of Austin(Mary Reynolds) got a call from the Rotary Books for the World Project(Charlie Clemmons)& Our District Governor Elect (Ruth Allison) informing us that there was a private school in Pflugerville (Harmony Science Academy) that wanted to donate their out of adoption English books to this project but they needed some Rotarians to pick up the books, shrink wrap them on pallets and get them ready for UPS to ship them to Houston to be sent to Africa. I made a call to  our club member(Randy Berry of Central Transportation Systems) to see if his company near Pflugerville would be willing to help. I got an immediate response saying they would do it-in  true Rotary style. A job needed to be done so a Rotarian stepped up to did it! Not only did Randy's company volunteer to do this for our club but they picked up the books and got them ready for shipping in less than a week. Thanks to Central Transportation Company and Randy Berry for their Rotarian Service Above Self.
